Need Help regarding CEC eligibility

Hi all,


Seniors please help. I started working for my company from 9, July 2012 but I was on off campus work permit at that time and then I got my post graduation work permit on 20 sep 2012. I am working 37.5 hours per week.

My question is Can I submitted my file for cec in july or I have wait until 20 sep 2013. Any body in same situation Please help.

Start counting your time from the day your degree was conferred.

Start counting your time from the day your degree was conferred.

If my memory serves me correct, there are cases where the application have been refused based on the PGWP date.
CIC consider's the exp from PGWP date.

Anyone else remember this?

u have to wait till September 2013 , one year from the time u got ur pgwp

To be completely safe, go with the latest date of either the PGWP or the degree conferral. In this case, that is the PGWP date.

Apply only after Sep 20, as you need to show the 1 year work exp on your PGWP...off campus will be taken into consideration....

and I would suggest you to give atleast 2 weeks on bandwidth after sep20 to send your file....(to be on safe side)
