Hi everyone, I'm on PGWP and it expires on February 16, 2021.

I applied to PR through PNP Paper-Based with BC PNP.

So, my timeline is the next:
- January 10, 2020, the Application was received by CIC
- February 20, 2020, Received the Biometric letter also there was another email saying this

"UCI: XXXXXX
Application No.: EPXXXXX
Quote these numbers when corresponding with our office.

Dear ERNESTO JESUS SANCHEZ RUIZ,

This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 2020/01/10."

- February 24, 2020, Biometric done
- July 28, 2020, Received the Invitation to Pre-arrival services

So, I need to apply to the Bridging open work permit for permanent residence but Im not sure if I meet the requirements. One of the requirements is to "be approved in principle for permanent residence" I'm not sure if I do. Could you guys help me please. Thank you

Hello Ernesto

I am not an expert and I don't know the details about your PNP, but I think that if your nomination is employed-linked you don't qualify for a bridging work permit, you will have to apply for an employer-specific one.
If your nomination is not employed-linked I don't know what the answer is. Sorry for not being able to bring more light to the issue.
Regards.
