Hi. My mom currently has a tourist visa but it’ll be expiring on November 15 this year. Can she still use it to enter Canada, say this October? What would possibly happen if she still uses it? Thank you.

Yes she can use it. She may experience nothing different at the border, or may have her stay limited, or nothing at all

Really? Will she be questioned as to why her visa is expiring? Will it affect her length of stay?

Hi! There is also a possibility she’ll be granted a 6-month stay even with expiring visa? Thank you

No, she won't be questioned about her visa expiring and it shouldn't affect the length of stay. She will likely be granted the standard 6 months.

Yes, she should be allowed to enter as long as the visa is valid. Stay duration is completely border officer discretion, typically 6 months for visitor..
