Hello,

My fiance who is already in Canada as a permanent resident (Employed) helped me fill out temporary visa application for myself. Canadian Embassy located in Ankara Turkey sent me the email (after two days of received application) stating that the process has been finalized and that I need to send them the courier (since I am currently in another country) to pick up the passport. Does this letter mean that Visa was approved or denied? Their decision was quick what does that mean? Please Please Please let me know what this could mean. Thanks :)

Hi,

That is very interesting for me to be contacted in 2 days. me and my wife are citizen of Iran and i am studying in Canada. My wife has applied for visitor Visa from Canada embassy in Tehran/Iran in February 2012. Visa section of Canada embassy in Iran got closed from beginning of May 2012 and my wife's application is transferred to Turkey/Ankara. They haven't contacted us during these five months to tell us what is going with he Visa application!!! 5 months  for a Visitor Visa is so ridiculous.

I will be happy if you let me know about any information you might have.

Hi, my unfortunately my Visa was denied because they said if I will go there (in Canada) I will overstate. Ridiculous response. Does not make any sense. However, they reached that decision in 1-2 days. Now I filed for PR Card hope they have nothing to say about it. Good luck to you! and request you visa status, it should not take that long.

Hi Kate20, I'm a bit confused.. you mention you applied for TRV and then it was refused. Now you applied for PR card??? Are you a residence of Canada or a visitor or just married to your fiance??? pls be specific.
