Need Help: Planning to travel just 1 month before Work permit validity

Hi,
My friend is working here on Work Permit and in June she travelled to india. Her WP will be expired on Oct 07th and she is planning to come back Canada on sep 04th. having just one month of Work permit/Visa validity during travel, does it cause any problem in port of entry?. she is really worried of that, could some one please suggest?

I suggest if there is small time left on work permit , get something from company HR as work assignment letter or deputation letter. that will help at the time of entry.
