I am in the UK I am not a Canadian citizen, my partner is a Canadian cit but lives here in the UK with me,
We are applying for a common-law visa. I have completed the application, but I am so confused about where I am sending and how I am paying, am I applying at an office outside Canada? If so, it says I can not pay by personal cheque or online so how else do I pay?

you need to send the application to mississauga
for the payment i think has to be a money order if u dont live in canada. i think so

Choose Case Processing Centre - Mississauga as the place receiving your payments. Yes, you are applying through an office outside Canada (London) but all payments will be processed by CPC-M.

What method of payment do I use ? A certified cheque? A bankers draft?

you can pay online ( at least it was possible a few months ago when I did it, I'm applying outland through London VO), you will receive by mail a confirmation of payment and you can include that in your application before sending it to Mississauga.

Good luck,
Sweden

You can pay Online and submit the receipt you get along with the application or certified cheque/bankers draft in favor of " Receiver General for Canada". In my case I made certified cheque in India for the total amount and submitted with the application....Good luck
