1. After 2 years in B.Tech, chances for visa approval for your proposed 2 years Diploma is slim to none.

Kashif Jee. You are being very impatient. Please give atleast 24 hours for a reply.

Anyways. im happy to be of any assistance.

The rule of CiC is that the length of your studies will be the same for the length of pgwp.

So if you are coming on a 2 yr diploma course, then you will be given 2 year pgwp.

And that is fine. Just work for one complete year (12 months) and then you will be eligible to apply for Canadian immigration under CEC (Canadian experience class).

Since you are now in the process of apply to canada. I will request you to frequently check the canadian immigration website - wwwDOTcic.gc.ca

There you can go to different sections, regarding student visa, canadian experience class and you can read everything, all the laws.

Last thing, please - DO NOT PAY 1 SINGLE RUPEE, DIRHAM, DOLLAR OR RIYAL to anyone. There is no need to use any agent. If you can read, write and speak english, then you should be able to fill all those forms by yourself. And if you are stuck, just come on this site, and everybody will help you. Believe me, people here are awesome. We all are going through difficult time and we help each other.

All the best.

Ok. I'm little confused as to why the visa authority will check your qualifications.

If the college you apply, accepts you in any course, be it dancing or automotive, then canadian consulate is no one to object. Unless, some laws have changed and they are allowed to make issues, then perhaps Enfield is right.

You have 3 questions - let me respond point by point:

i want to know is it better to go Canada under 2 years diploma ?

I'm not very clear about this question. If you are asking that 2 yrs diploma is has good job prospects than a bachelors degree. It depends you want to do and how much of knowledge you need. If you have lot of background experience, perhaps you just need a 2 yr diploma to get used to Canadian automotive standards - and that's it!

But if you have 0 automotive experience, then yes you will need a 4 yrs bachelors degree. If somebody doesnt want to be an engineer, perhaps just a technician, perhaps 2 yrs diploma is enough. How much they earn. You will have to do some research on your own. Check Glassdoor DOT com, or Monster DOT ca, to check how much salary can an auto technician or auto engineer earn.

I will also suggest you to check Georgian College (in Barrie - its about 80km north of Toronto). It has a very well reputed automotive program, both mechanical engineering & 2 yr diploma. Please check that college. And ask them the questions about job prospects or send them your cv and then ask which course is better for you. Kashif, it all depends, aasmaan ko choona hay, ya zameen per rehna hay? It depends on you, it depends on your finance (as you know international fees is very high). If you ask me what i will do if i was in your position, then i'd just simply apply for 2 yrs diploma. Get a job, get immigration and then do any bachelors or masters. Then your fees will be 3 times less!!

You can get the answer for job prospects in Canada from this website
wwwDOTworkingincanadaDOTgcDOTca
Click on OUTLOOK on the right side link on that page.
Type in your occupation, Auto service technician,
YOu will see a report, click on the region, instead of province click on Canada and you will get full report.
Its not as exciting as computer engineer, but its positive.

Can i get 3 year PGWP or Not?
I can't say you will get 3 years. But for sure you will 2 years PGWP. And thats all you need. After working for 1 year in Canada, you will be eligible to apply for Canadian immigration. And you will get immigration in perhaps 9 months.

Hope this answers it. All the best dude!

Thanks Brother for your information.

Now your questions:

1- can you give me more colleges name who's offering 2 year Diploma and cheapest

There are so many colleges in Canada, it will take me weeks to do this kind of research. Perhaps you start paying me $500 per day :)

Usually, the yearly fees are the same for most colleges. Roughly speaking around 12000-14000. Dont quote me on this, it varies with respect to different programs. Don't go for the cheapest. You may not get the visa, as everyone goes for the cheap and visa officer might suspect your intentions.

Go for the college, that is reknowned in its field. I know that Georgian is well known in automotive.

2- Can i work more 20 hours during my study?

You can double check this info on the same site where you checked the answer below (regarding PGWP).

3- As per the CIC web site is written there anybody have get 2 years study in Canada, will get 3 year PGWP. kindly see the link

4- what is the sharing living expense in Ontario ?
Hmm good question.

If you are in Toronto, you can get a room for roughly $500 per month, and add $150 monthly for food expenses. The commuter fee is around $120.

If you are in Barrie where Georgian College is, you can get a room for 350-400 near the college, no bus fee as you will walk. so you can save around 200-300 permonth!!

I'll honestly and strongly strongly suggest you to check out Georgian College.

Or, check out colleges in Calgary Alberta. I wonder if the fees in SAIT and NAIT are slightly lower than colleges in Ontario. Not sure. Please check that out, as taxes are lower in Alberta province. Toronto is in Ontario where taxes are 13%!!

dear i checked Georgian college site but i find only one course they are offering.

i am applying form ABU Dhabi because i am working here.
i have checked 2 or 3 colleges during search. These are all Government in Ontario.

If i apply in Govt. colleges still there is less chance to get visa?

How can i send you message in your in-box

hi I am truly amazed by your statement as"If the college you apply, accepts you in any course, be it dancing or automotive, then canadian consulate is no one to object. "......

the high commission clearly states that getting the Offer Letter is not the grantee of Visa. and also visa gets rejected on the basis of non relevant course options.
Universities/college gives you admission easily...as they get the nonrefundable application fees and also in case if the visa is rejected they again deduct some administrative charges and then refund back the tuition fees....they are always getting something when a student apply for admission....its the visa that gets rejected on the grounds of irrelevancy...the visa authority have every right to check each and every document that you will be attchiing in your visa file...and my friend...your educational documents will be one of the most important documents

now Kasif..as you have done 3 yrs diploma and I guess you got credit transfer for that in your bachelors...and that ways you completed your bachelors in 2 years....if that is the case...then do not worry...you have all the right qualifications to apply for post grad diploma or even masters. just keep in mind that the course you select should be relevant to your studies or work experience...

for any further assistance you can always get in touch with at singh.monika.aditya@gmail.com

thanks

1. 2 year Diploma course? you are heading towards straight refusal, you are already a B.Tech.
2. You can't work off campus for the first 8 months (6 months + 45 days of OCWP processing). You can work on-campus 20 hours/week.
3. Very unlikely to get 3 years PGWP for a 2 years Diploma, for want of insufficient credit hours.
