Need Help on understanding Income Tax year for application

As per guide line it say

" You must have filed income taxes, if required under the Income Tax Act, for four (4) of the taxation years that are fully or partially within the six (6) years before you apply for citizenship. Complete the table for the past six (6) taxation year(s), indicating whether you were required to file personal income taxes, and whether or not you filed personal income taxes."

I became Pr since 2013 and will be eligible to apply for citizenship on 30 aug 2017. I filed tax since 2011 until 2016.

As per CIT-0002 : Sec : J How will i fill information for Taxation year ? Should i show start from 2011 to 2016 or start from 2012 to 2017 ? for 2017 :check option required to be filed ?

Please help on it.

There are six lines available so fill 2011 to 2016. As for 2017, if you are applying for citizenship on the 30 Aug 2017, as of that day, you not required to be file 2017 return! The year 2017 return becomes required only 1 Jan 2018 onward; I applied in 2016, did not say a thing about 2016 tax...

There are six lines available so fill 2011 to 2016. As for 2017, if you are applying for citizenship on the 30 Aug 2017, as of that day, you not required to be file 2017 return! The year 2017 return becomes required only 1 Jan 2018 onward; I applied in 2016, did not say a thing about 2016 tax...
