Need help on ECA from WES

Hi,

I am from India. I have done MCA from Punjab Technical University(PTU) and B.Com from Panjab University(PU).
Following are the few queries, any help is highly appreciable:

1. Do I need any NOC from my concerned colleges before I could get the transcripts?

2. Do I have to get transcript for the MCA Degree Certificate along with the all semester mark-sheets?

3. As I did both degrees from different universities. How will they send the transcripts so that WES receives them together?

4. I have read somewhere, unlike PTU, PU does not even handover the transcripts to the applicant. Therefore the idea of getting the transcripts, in different envelopes from PTU and PU, delivered my address and then the forward them to WES in a simple super envelope together will not work either. Sad

For Qn 3 and 4:
WES need not get your both transcripts at the same time. When they get the first one, they would verify and accept it and then wait for the second to start the processing. So you can arrange for direct delivery of transcripts from respective universities.

1. NOC from colleges are not normally required. You can directly apply to the University. However, you could check whether there are specific rules regarding this pertaining to your university.

WES doesn't ask for NOC.

Transcript as requested by WES is nothing but marks of all subjects in each semester printed on the paper, signed/stamped by university official, placed in a sealed/stamped envelope. Apart from that you will also required to send photocopy (not necessary to be stamped/signed) to WES. (http://www.wes.org/ca/eca/requireddocuments/index.asp)

3. As I did both degrees from different universities. How will they send the transcripts so that WES receives them together?

Essentially after collecting the sealed transcripts, include copy of degree certificate and keep it all together in a 'super' envelope and send it to WES.

4. I have read somewhere, unlike PTU, PU does not even handover the transcripts to the applicant. Therefore the idea of getting the transcripts, in different envelopes from PTU and PU, delivered my address and then the forward them to WES in a simple super envelope together will not work either.

Instead of reading somewhere, check this with the two universities and if what you read is the actual case... you can use 'Academic Records Request Form' (http://www.wes.org/ca/required/International_Transcript_Request.pdf)
