Need Help on application withdrawal

Hi Everyone,

I have sent mail to withdraw my application after couple of weeks I got reply from Sydney office mentioned below:

Please be advised that your application was assessed and it was determined that the application met ministerial instructions. It was placed into processing and forwarded to the visa office for further review. Please note: we can action the withdrawal of your submission, however, as it was placed into process prior to your request. No refund of the processing fees will be issued.

I have forwarded your request to the visa office in New Delhi for action.

Can any body tell me about D.A.?
Please tell me that has my application got withdraw or not?
Do I need to reply this mail or they are confirming that withdrawal is in process?
How much time they will take to withdraw my application?

Why not let the application run its course? They will initiate the process of withdrawal with no further communication from you.
If I were you, I will send a request that my app should not be canceled as you lose nothing as it stands - you've already lost your $ 550 either way....
Whatever has caused you to make that decision could change for th better in future.
Act now to save your application or forever remain silent!

Thanks Mandie for the reply and nice advise and you are right to but still somehow due to major personal problem I have to do that. Money doesn't matters everywhare. I can not go for further process so if it will go further and I will not do or take anyother steps they will tell further in processing so I think and feel that It is not good and we should not waist there time also if we are clear that what we are doing.

Can anyone answer my above main questions? I will be thankful to you...

If it is a point of no return, they have forwarded your request to the visa officer in ND (guess that is you indicated on your application) where your application will be cancelled. U don't need to do anything now, you will get your docs in the next few weeks/months....

Respected Sir/Madam

Thanks for the reply and confirmation that my application (XXXXXXX) submission for Permanent Residence withdrawal request has been processed and submitted to the visa office New Delhi for action. I would be thankful if will receive the further action(s) in order to withdrawal of the same.

This mail is just to confirm you that please go ahead with further withdrawal process of my submission of Application (XXXXXX) for Permanent Residence.

I have sent it as I thought I should ask before sending... was in doubt whether they were asking me to confirm or they are telling me that process is initiated. Please guide... if I sent it then will it be helpful or not? If you suggest me to send an e-mail then I will do that. I need confirmed information for the same.

'I have forwarded your request to the visa office in New Delhi for action'...that means they sent cancellation request already, you need not do anything.
