1. You still have to meet the PR residency requirement of 2 years in Canada in every 5 year period.
2. There is no rule/regulation for 60 year olds.
3. You have to have resided in Canada for 3 years in the 4 years on the date you apply for citizenship.

To add to PPM's post:

1. You need to have 730 days of physical presence in the 5 year prior to the date you sign the PR Card application.
2. CIC has amended the PR Renewal form and now require more documentation as proof of residence - Notice of Tax Assessments, passport bio data page etc.

If you will find either 1 or 2 difficult then you better return to Canada in advance of your PR Card expiry and sit out for for 2 years. You don't need a valid PR Card whilst living in Canada.

Thank you dear PPM for your prompt answer, I have to give more information about my situation to get clear answer;
I am living outside canada and working since three years as representative for immigration services company
when get any immigration applicant I collect his documents and fill the applications then send to immigration company.
I am comming to canada from time to time and stay few months and go back to middle east.
This is my situation now with clear picture.
My inquiry can I apply to renew the P.R. again if I do not like to apply for citizenship as I am working for the last
three years for a canadian Company and I have proof (experience letter from the canadian company).

CIC did not want PRs setting up mom and pop businesses that posted them abroad to get round the PR requirements. If your company meets the 'Canadian Business' criteria below then employment time is counted for PR if not sorry no dice.

IRPA

61. (1) Subject to subsection (2), for the purposes of subparagraphs 28(2)(a)(iii) and (iv) of the Act and of this section, a Canadian business is

(a) a corporation that is incorporated under the laws of Canada or of a province and that has an ongoing operation in Canada;

(b) an enterprise, other than a corporation described in paragraph (a), that has an ongoing operation in Canada and

(i) that is capable of generating revenue and is carried on in anticipation of profit, and

(ii) in which a majority of voting or ownership interests is held by Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or Canadian businesses as defined in this subsection; or

(c) an organization or enterprise created under the laws of Canada or a province.

Marginal note:Exclusion

(2) For greater certainty, a Canadian business does not include a business that serves primarily to allow a permanent resident to comply with their residency obligation while residing outside Canada.

Marginal note:Employment outside Canada

(3) For the purposes of subparagraphs 28(2)(a)(iii) and (iv) of the Act, the expression “employed on a full-time basis by a Canadian business or in the public service of Canada or of a province” means, in relation to a permanent resident, that the permanent resident is an employee of, or under contract to provide services to, a Canadian business or the public service of Canada or of a province, and is assigned on a full-time basis as a term of the employment or contract to

(a) a position outside Canada;

(b) an affiliated enterprise outside Canada; or

(c) a client of the Canadian business or the public service outside Canada.

I agree with Msafiri. I think it's extremely unlikely CIC will agree that you are working for a Canadian company outside of Canada. I don't think CIC will let you count your time spent working outside of Canada towards your PR residency requirement.

If you want to keep your PR status, you should return to Canada as soon as you can and then not leave the country until you meet the residency requirement for PR.
