Need help- May 2011 Applicant

Hi everybody,

My husband and I have applied for PR under the Federal Skilled Worker scheme in May 2011.
We have received a confirmation regarding file submission on 6th June 2011 and then the application fee was deducted by June end.

After that we received a mail from FSW centralized Intake Office in July end.

Then a hard Copy from Delhi Embassy regarding the receiving of file for further processing in August 2011 end.

But we haven't received any news after that. If we try to check the application status on cic's website.. It shows it's in process and the processing was started in Nov 2011.

What should we do...? Can we visit the nearest embassy and ask about the file...? because it is almost going to be 12 months since we have applied.

Kindly guide.

The embassy will not respond to you if you make a personal enquiry directly at the Embassy.
Please note that there are a huge number of applicants are waiting like you for any communication about their application from their visa offices. However, the best method is to send a Case Specific Enquiry to your visa office requesting for the current status of your application.

For this case specific enquiry... what do I need to do...? Like we have Canadian Embassy in the City I am living in.

Should I send an application in writing....
Or I can go in person and ask...?

Seems you are from Chandigarh, just guessing

But that doesnt matter much as email is the best option which you can send from anywhere.

I think the email id for enquiry is: "re-delhi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca", but let any senior validate this id.

Yes I am from Chandigarh.
And thank you so much for the help. I shall send an e-mail to inquire about the status of the file. But as you said, I will wait for a senior to approve this e-mail ID first.
