Hi friends,

I have got my ITA on Jan 13th ( 468 points )

I have backhome work experience of 2 years, for which I claimed 26 points .. I do have offer letter, relieving letter ( the letter I put it when I was filing my student visa in 2012 ) and also pay stubs.. But unfortunately, the company that I worked 7 years before is no longer into business. I dont know when that was shut down, because it has been almost 6 years since I left it..

Would that be a problem for me..
What documents do I have to submit to prove my experience ?? I only can provide offer letter, relieving letter and last 3 pay stubs..

Is it a good idea to reject the ITA and enter into pool again ?/ I will have 442 points if I dont claim for my backhome experience.. but I just have 4 months of WP left.. So, I'm bit doubtful whether it is a good idea to reject ITA at this time or not..

if the existence of the company is not a concern, then I would not have any problem I believe.. I dont want my appplication to be rejected , that is why I am more worried now..

Please give some inputs if you have any idea..

The reason for having the question is, I tried to contact the company for latest dated relieving letter, then I got to know that it is not into the business anymore..

btw my ITA is under CEC class..

What do you have to possibly prove your experience?

Do you have offer letters/job descriptions/payslips/any reference letters from co-workers/emails sent to or from your work account at that time? A combination of this along with some sort of proof that the company a)existed at some point and b)is no longer in business should help to support your claim.

I do have paystubs, offer letter and a relieving letter ... Relieving letter is something that I got when I was leaving my country for my higher studies ( by my HR )

and when it comes to emails, no I dont have.. You cant hav access to your account emails, once you leave the company.. they deactivate your email as well.. but I think I can get hold of colleagues or anyone of the project managers or HR (they must be working in another company ) and ask them write a reference letter that I worked with them in 2010 - 2012 ... Thats all I can do, other than providing my pay stubs, offer letter and relieving letter..

if that doesnt work, then I will have to decline my ITA and get into pool again .. I will be 442 points in that case.. but we never know whether the points go down or rise .. very confused and worried..

Well, one more thing.. I submitted all documents ( last 3 pay stubs and relieving letter ) to CIC when I was filing my student visa in 2012.. I had no issued at that time, since the company was there at that time .. and my visa got approved as well ( so I am here )

I dont know whether CIC would have that record or not in their database..
