Need help in Spouse Sponsership

Ok thanku so much. M afghani my passport is afghani and m new immigrant as a refugee i have been here in canada now for one and a half year now but m married to a pakistani boy. He is not afghani. My question is that before sponsering my husband do i have to pay the immigration loan which they paid us for coming here to Canada. Can someone plz answer me for this question

You may not be able to sponsor a relative if you:

• are in prison
• have not paid your alimony or child support payments
• have declared bankruptcy and haven’t been released from it yet
• got social assistance for reasons other than being disabled
• didn’t pay back an immigration loan, made late payments or missed payments

To me, and I am not an expert, that reads as if you defaulted on the loan, continue to make late payments or completely missed payments.

I would suggest reading through the guides carefully, gathering the appropriate evidence and in the meantime, save all of your conversations with your husband.

I am asking this because i cant afford to pay loan as quickly before sponsoring my husband. Because i already have to pay 1040$ in the beginning before submission of application. I pay 50$ every month. I just dont want anything to happen in my case thats y m asking

If you are making your payments regularly and on time, I don't think you need to worry. I'm only guessing though, as with any loan, the terms of with the party that provided the loan.

YES DEAR YOU SHOULD CLEAR EVERYTHING LOANS ETC ALL THE FINANCIAL HELP U RECEIVED FROM GOUV IT SHOULD BE ALL CLEAR....BECUZ u are going to sponser ur spouse soo u have to take all responsibility of him...if you have an kind of loans they wont accept ur aplication it its clear mention on the forms too
