Need help in filling point 4 on IMM 0008 form

I am filling my Canadian PR application, on CEC. I have filled in as "CPC Sydney, Nova Scotia". Is this the correct one? Please suggest.

Also, can we submit the application without Police certificate.

If you are answering the question about which Immigration office to select, you are using the old version of IMM 0008 and you will need to get the new one, which doesn't have this question.

New form doesn't have that option at all.
Option 4. is for Language Preference

you are reffering to IMM 008 Generic Application Form for Canada. But you are answering to the form Schedule 8: Economic Classes – Canadian Experience Class

If you have some time please open the Generic application form and let me know.

As the others have said, you are using an outdated version of IMM0008. If you open up the newest version, November 2014, you'll see that Question 4 is indeed now "Language Preference".

It seems that the IMM 0008 Generic Application form has indeed been changed a little.
Im about to file mine, and Im using the slightly older one.

Is it a big no no, or will it even matter?
The only point I can see they have changed is the question about the case processing center, which has been removed.

What is the date code on the bottom of each page of the IMM 0008 form that you are using? It will say something like "IMM 0008 (MM-YYYY) E"

Then you ARE using the old one. The new one is IMM 0008 (11-2014) E. Clear out all your browser caches etc and get the new one from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM0008ENU_2D.pdf

When you go to CIC site you will see the Generic Application Form for Canada[IMM 0008] November 2014, however when I open this pdf the date that comes on the bottom of the page is 06-2014

The link is good. It's your PC/ISP that has the problem. It's supplying you with a cached, old copy of the form, instead of fetching a new copy from CIC.
