Just state all the jobs in the last 3 years, do not omit anything. If you were studying full time and working part time within the last 3 years, and not earlier than that, you absolutely have to mention it! Seniors correct me if I am wrong.

Sorry, wait a second, what is the form again? Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669]?? If yes than my answer above is correct.

If it is Schedule 8: Economic Classes – Canadian Experience Class [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 8] then you only state NOC jobs that you are claiming.

Do I need to mention my part time job in IMM 5669 Background as i did these jobs during my ful time studies. The Issue here is with my dates i worked part time while Im going to school.

Since this is the form where you are claiming the eligible jobs, you shouldn't put any work during full time education as they are not used for CEC

I have the exact same doubts. Would be glad if more seniors can give some input to this. Do we have to incude co-op or off campus work experience anywhere in the application? Co-op job is part of the education program, so is it ok if I don't mention it in Schedule 8?

Yes, you need to put all your experience in Canada over the last three years in the background declaration form.

Folks, it would really be helpful to specify the forms, since the Schedule 8-Canadian Experience Class (IMM-0008), and the IMM 5669 (Background/Declaration) have different requirements, and there's a bit of misinformation above. Go figure, it's also kinda helpful to read the Instruction Guide -
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5609ETOC.asp

For the IMM-5669 - Background Declaration - the time period is "since the age of 18, or the past 10 years, whichever is most recent." This is where you include EVERYTHING.

For the IMM-0008 Canadian Experience Class, Question 5: "List your occupations within the 3 years preceding the date your application is made starting with your current occupation. List only occupations that fall in Skill Type 0 or Skill Levels A or B of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) code . . . Indicate whether or not you were a full-time student or self-employed during any of the above listed periods."

(This final instruction implies that you SHOULD include work as a student - if it was in the past 3 years, and if it was a Skilled NOC - but you also need to indicate that as instructed). If it was NOT skilled, don't list it.

For IMM 5669, if your main activity is a student, why do you have to include part time work in the form? It's not going to cause a gap in timeline. And for my case, I had to work in a co-op job as part of my education program requirements. Do I have to list it down as well? Some people say that you don't need to list down co-op work experience as it is part of the education program. So which is correct?

Is this how I should write in IMM 5669??

For e.g. Sep 2011 - Apr 2013 Studying
Feb 2012 - Nov 2012 Co-op work
Oct 2012 - Feb 2013 Part time work (OCWP)
