Dear Fellows,

I have completed all requirements of EE and now preparing my profile. I need help in choosing a suitable NOC code as my roles are overlapping multiple codes.

I work as an assistant relationship manager in a commercial bank. My job is to manage portfolio of company accounts, review and analyze their financial position, prepare credit applications for loans and working capital, mobilize new assets and deposits and market new clients, negotiate on collateral and pricing etc.

I will appreciate if help experts can help me in choosing which NOC code should I select for my work experience.

Thanks!

Check NOC 0122 - Banking, credit and other investment managers. You should also look at NOC 1114 Other financial officers. You don't need to perform all the duties but your performed duties must match the lead statement and substantial number of main duties.

This is official link to find NOC- https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/find-national-occupation-code.html

Thanks! What do you suggest regarding NOC 6235?
For 0122, I doubt that the lead statement doesn’t match, as it apparently applies to managers who plan, direct or control the department. What are your suggestions?

Hi - hope you’re doing well. I went through some threads where you’ve been assisting members with their NOC code. Was wondering if you could help me with the above query. Many thanks in advance.

I tried to look at both NOC codes you and @ishq74, I looked at the illustrative examples for each as well to me it seems more that NOC 0122 seems relevant.
But I would suggest you to check with more people

Thanks for your reply and taking out time to review the NOCs. To me 0122 appeals on the basis on job title, but as far as duties are concerned I am involved in preparing applications and add my recommendations. I do not manage the overall division and no role involves “overseeing” rather practically contributing to the division with other team members. That’s why I’m confused between 0122 and 6235. Let’s see if someone from a similar background can offer more clarity. Thanks again.
