Hi, I am extending my stay in Canada to wait for my PR application. It wouldnt let me submit untill I put a IMM 5257 in the optional slot. Do i also need to add one for my partner? Thanks

Also, is this even necessary? It is linked as a Optional Document, but, if I didn't put the completed document there, it wouldnt let me submit. Upon further investigation, by deleting it after placing it, it allows me to submit the document. Should I even submit the 5257 with my extension?
Clicking the "?" Logo next to the 5257 option reads "You must provide a Schedule 1 declaration. A Schedule 1 declaration is a form with questions about your personal history. You will be asked to list information such as any affiliations with organizations and any military or government service."
