Hi,
I'm trying to create my Express Entry profile and I'm unsure as to what NOC I should choose for work requirements.
My job title is Construction Project Coordinator which falls under "Construction Manager - NOC 0711". But since I'm an entry level/junior employee, my work duties match only some of those listed under that NOC but not the upper management tasks. Another job code that seems relevant is "Civil Engineers - 2131" but since I work in construction, only some of my job duties match the NOC duties. I have completed a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering which is the education requirement for both NOCs.
I believe I would be more suited to Civil Engineers - NOC 2131 because I'm not in a management position however my job duties and title relate more closely to those listed under Construction Managers - NOC 0711.
My job duties are as follows:
- Issue tender documents for pricing
- Distribute change notices, change directives, Sis to trades and obtain quotes from trades and site
- Maintain and update log for RFI, CN, SI, RFE, and CO
- Prepare quotes in Jonas
- Collect SHP DWGS from trades
- maintain and update shop DWG log
- review shop DWGs, samples and other submittals if in accordance with the specs
- gather close-out documentation for the O&M manuals
- coordinate with sub-trades and site superintendents regarding completion of deficiencies on the project
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
