Need help guys confused

Hey everyone , I have sent my application march 2016 for common law sponsorship from Canada .

Now just received a email requesting a updated sch 1 , sponsor questionnaire ,rprf , and proof of relationship all to be sent to Mexico City ??

I sent all this with my original application why are they requesting it all again and to diff country now ? I thought my app would be done in Canada and shouldn't they have all these documents from when I first sent ??

Please help guys let me know what's going on

Unless there was a dramatic change in policy, it sounds like you have an outland application. Inland applications are processed entirely in Canada. That said, at this stage, you're probably better to just give them the information they want....

I applied from Canada so I'm not sure why they are requesting them to Mexico . Hoping someone here can help .

You can still apply from inside Canada for an Outland application. Your physical location doesn't matter. It's the paperwork and the address that it was sent, that will determine inland or outland.

Did you get more than one AOR? Have they sent a Sponsorship Approval?

Hey , yes I did the medical and got the sponsor approval form from them . I am still waiting on if the police record from Mexico was received by them that's last thing they needed .
Now they sent me this email asking for all these forms so really confused why Mexico is asking for same forms I already sent to Mississauga

So from what I read you are the PA.. And you are from Mexico and the sponsor is from Canada?

From what I've read in other threads... When let's say the sponsor and the sponsored person are from two different cultures, they decide to add an officer from the background of the sponsored person in this case from Mexic to look through the file... Because that officer knows more about the culture...

But that's not a bad thing! When the relationship is genuine and once you prove it to them, the app could be processed in any other place... It doesn't matter


I think it would be better to send everything as they asked where they asked so you won't waste more time.
