Need help! Getting Passport Stamped

Hi, we sent our Passport to be stamped on Friday and it arrived today. How long will it take to be returned stamped?

We sent it from Ireland, to the Paris Embassy.

We fly out on Wednesday the 6th of May, so unless it is posted back today or tomorrow, it will not arrive in time I fear.

Anybody have any experience or advice on this?

Hi,

Did you get your passport back in time? We are in a similar situation and need to travel urgently.

Worst part is - there is no way to get in touch with the Paris Visa section. What do people do in-case of emergency?
Can you turn up at the embassy and demand the passport be returned? (even I don't mind not getting the visa)
