Need Help from NOC 3111 Specialist physicians applicant

Has any application in NOC 3111 Specialist physicians reached visa office, Do I need to verify my specialist degree or only MBBS. My degree is from my native country, MS in Surgery. I am finding it difficult to collect experience certificate in NOC 3112. Please help.

Dear,
An ECA report is a must, and that is done by MCC. But to prove your specialty experience you have to provide copies of your training and work experience.
Please don't waste money and time doing primary source verification for your Specialty certificate, at the end the MCC will not give any report on that, but they love to take money for it without any right advice...trust me I have been through that. Their purpose is to make money!!
In short ECA report for your primary medical degree and copies of specialty training and experience.

I have another question. In our country for MS(Cardiothoracic Surgery) Training requirement is only 2 years of general surgery which I have. And I have 4 years training in Cardiothoracic Surgery. do you think with this I can apply as NOC 3111 (Specialist Physician) I am asking this beacuse in there web site I saw

•Five to six years of specialty residency training are required.
•Two years of subspecialty training may also be required.

also Cardiothoracic surgery requirement in various site also stats 5 years general surgery residency

In my opinion, your training fulfill 6y of essential requirement, so that should be fine. Our specialist certificates and training only will be used for references /as evidence of our specialist status (for immigration purpose only) of NOC 3111 anyway, as specialist training programs varies on countries. Those certificates mean nothing for Canadian registration/license, thereby don't worry too much.
For applying in medical specialist category, I think DIAC accepts this fact when they opened NOC 3111, because they only require ECA for MD degree.

Well, if I'd have known this before sending my specialist certificate to MCC, then I could save some money and time (and confusion). Anyway, it gets stuck in mid air now due to another factor. Your experience shows me that I shouldn't go further with it for now.
