hi Akif,
i am on this forum from last 6 months and i ve seen u hlping lots of students.i hope you can heelp me too.i have done Masters in business education.now planning to do MEd and then Phd in education from canada.i ve choosen university of saskatschewan for this purpose.if everything goes right then i am coming to canada with my family(two small kids and husband).do you think my university choise is ok?
and if you can send me a study plan according to my degree it would be a grt help.

Assalam-o-alaikum

Ur selected course and University have no any issue. U r going right direction but u can fall back if u do the following blender.

1. Writing ur SOP and show that u r interested for PHD as well. (U just show that u want to study Master there only)

2. If u process ur case along with ur husband and children. (It smoothly show ur purpose of migration to Canada through student visa and u will not back to lovely PK.

I mean to say here u have to developed strong SOP and satisfy VO that u purpose of Canada is to study only. U have to process ur case alone and once u get visa then u can file ur husband and children case as well .

(i) Regarding your study plan please do include your plan to further your studies in the field of education by specifying Ph.D. If you can specify the field of research and if it is related to the research area of the University as well, then nothing like it, as it only makes your case stronger.

(ii) Regarding taking the entire family along, I will agree with Akif, if you apply for VISA for the entire family at the same time it may just go against you only as then, in your case, there will be no further ties with your home country and the high commission may just reject that. Here I will also add, if you have further work experience it might just give them an indication that the purpose is purely migration and nothing else.

If u show ur purpose of going is also PHD then many question arise that week ur case such as.

In ur SOP. U have to explain about

1. Master program and its uniqueness
2. then PHD program and so on.

U have to write ur SOP about 5 A4 pages approx. It will be heavy burden of words that can cause of confusion.

It will also attack on the important question of "SATISFIY VO TO BACK TO UR HOME COUNTRY".

I suggest u to be concise and show only short term objective i.e Master program, Once u get the visa u can process ur family case as well and go for PHD after Master degree.

I think u understand here what I mean to say. "stay concise, simple and use ur family as ur home tie"

after receiving the study permit as an individual bases then when will apply for spouse and children.
mean to say any time period?
whats there case will apply trv or any other......
again we will the same procedure?
sufficient funds available,bank statement?etc

plz suggest the best possiblity

thanks Akif for so much help and also thank to Neeraj for your guidance.actually problem is that that i can leave my kids for even a day.they r too young.and for bringing my kids i have to take my husband too,so he can take care of them.i am totally agree with Akif on this Phd issue but what if my husband show them his extended job leave beacuse he is doing very good job in pakistan.and also i have a conditional job offer from a very good university.we also have some property in pakistan.woudnt these things make a difference.beacuse honestly speaking i am not worried about getting addmission but i am seriously worried abt getting visa for my family.i ssimply cant go without them and believe me i dont have any intension of ataying there more than my studies.

At this situation U should apply to study permit for urself and after receiving medical call apply for visit visa to ur family.

Further more many other options are available for Pakistan.
visit visa of family to look after.(OPTION 5)
Children care visa lss than 3 year. If feed required (Visit visa priority option)
Dependent visa (Visa visa option b)

etc etc

Canada can never stop ur husband into Pakistan. U r already marriage, ur case is already strong insight of ur husband and lovely children. Use the above options.

u have already given me such good advises regarding visa.i have decided that first i will apply for me and my kids visa.so that i can show my strong tie with pakistan through my husband because he will be doing job and living in pak.i think that will be enough proof to show my tie.
now another issue is that my father is sponsering me.(for study as well as accommodation etfor my whole family).he is working in kuwait from last 20 years,doing very good gov job there.has strong bank balance ans good salary slips.can u tell me what type of documents he has to send me.

Hi,

For sponsorship you need;
One reference letter (good if it's on official letter head) showing,
- Sponsor occupation
- Relationship to you
- Number of dependent they have!
- Full Contact details.
- One letter from the Sponsor's employer (on a letter head) showing;
1. Employer contact details
2. Business address.
Ur fahter live outside Pakistan. Following doc are also required.
1. Passport copy with Visa status.
2 ITR details.
3. Bank statement
