I am eligible for applying under CEC by the end of October 2013.But in the mean time my current work permit is also going to expire. In this case is there any way to extend my work permit ?

or if i change my status to visiting visa and once i get a positive response should i able to apply to for Bridging Work Permit ?

I seriously need advice on it

Thanks

When is your work permit expiring?
What is your NOC Code?

Make sure you use the proper job description for your reference letter - visit the NOC codes job descriptions - don't copy all - but use all add more in your own words that would be ok. Also; your wages need to exceed the minimum wage requirements as per workingincanada.gc.ca.

Now your answer: Yes you can convert it into a temporary resident visa while waiting for your application to be sent. Once they receive it and has been sent to the proper visa office for process; you can apply for the bridging work permit.

You would have to try to extend your current WP.
In order to being eligible for a BOWP after receiving your AOR, you have to hold
a valid WP. If you don't have a WP when you receive your AOR, you won't qualify
for the BOWP.
So look into:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/extend-stay.asp

As it is mentioned above, you cannot extend your work permit via Bridge Open Work Permit if your current work permit expires.

If you look up the "Operational Bulletin 485 - December 15, 2012" at CIC website, you will see the whole description of the BOWP and its eligibility parameters which are:

Bridging Open WP – Eligibility Parameters
To be eligible for a bridging open WP, the following parameters must be met:
•The foreign national is currently in Canada;
They have valid status on a WP that is due to expire within 4 months;
•They have received a positive eligibility decision on their PR application under one of the Economic Class programs above; and
•They have made application for an open WP.

You may still apply for PR under CEC as long as you have acquired 1yr FT work experience (or equivalent in PT) before your current work permit expires.

Good luck.

Do you mean your WP is expiring before you are eligible?

You need a valid wp to apply for BWP

I seriously need advice on it
If you have not completed the time requirement before your wp expires your only option is to get a new one

Thanks

Correct, check the link I posted above to see how to apply for WP extension.

Even if your current WP expires before a decision on your WP extension has been made,
you are on implied status, which allows you to keep staying and working in Canada on your previous conditions.
Which means, that if you have a valid WP by the time you apply for the extension, you can stay and work
for an additional 90 days. Which should give you enough time to gain your 12 months experience and apply for CEC.
However, you won't be eligible for a BOWP, but still you can apply for CEC.

you are right, just addressing tough, it is Necessary to apply for a new work permit before the old one expires in order to be on implied status and have those 90 days,

One more thing I take vacation for 40 days and went back home. And join same job after returning. - If the vacation was paid then you are good. It not then you have to wait for another 40 days.

Thanks

More question that my pgwp going to expire on Oct 25 2013. - You are in a tight spot here then. Your employer may be willing to file an LMO for you. But you have to do it fast.
What option I have available?
And CIC how know that I get paid vacation? - On your reference letter your employer will state the salary and if you didn't get paid for these 40 days it won't get added to you annual income and this income will not show on your T4s

Thanks
