Need help for adding my new born son in my application at Buffalo office

Four weeks before, I notified immigration buffalo office about two changes in my application. The one is the address change and the other is the birth of my son. I asked them the instructions to be send to me to add my son in my application. I have not received any thing from them yet.

However, I have checked my application status online, and they have updated my address. It means they have placed the change letter in my file.

Could any tell me should I wait for the instructions. Or I send them dependent processing fee, the birth certificate and the passport copy. Do I need to send them any updated form?

we are in the same boat. I e-mailed them to ask what to do cos i changed address, job, did the IELTS and have a new baby boy.
They haven't responded to my e-mail but yesterday, i sent in the following document
1. babay passport, birth certificate - notarized copy of the photo page
2. my IELTS result
3. my new address
4. new job offer and payslip - all notarized copies
5. $150 application fee for my son
6. 4 passport photo of my child attached to page 2 of the form where you put your children. remember to put "not applicable" into all other boxes on that page. else they will mail it back.


My baby was born DAY AFTER I mailed my application in february. I have a file number and am hoping they will update everything soon.

how long did it take them to update your address online? if i see the online address change, then i will know they have opened and processed my package.

Please do same and save processing time.

I sent them change of information via USPS priory mail. The change in address appeared online in two weeks. Actually, I checked my application status after the two weeks of submission of the change of address letter.

What I understand from your response is that you sent them the imm0008egen updated form.

my AOR is May 6th. what about yours? how long do you expect them to make initial decision?

MY AOR date is March 7th. They asked me IELTS. I have not send them the results yet. I will send them in August.

Had my own baby after i received my request for medical . Do not wait for CIC
just send them all documentation and the $150 application fee , fill out all the forms and send it overnight if possible ...I did that (did not even inform them earlier, once baby arrived, I packaged everything and sent it to them )
BTW I got her request for medicals exactly one week after this!

did you fill ALL the forms again or the relevant ones? I filled only page 2 of the form that relates to applicant's family members and attached the 4 passport photograph, passport, birth certificate and $150 application fee. I did not fill out all the other forms again as i didn't consider that necessary.

No I did not fill out all the forms
Just the supplement for dependents
But you also have to fill out a new Schedule 3 economic classes form because you have to update your
funds information! But if you did not fill that out do not worry they will make you fill it out later!

my fund available is 35K on the original form, which is even higher than maximum required for any number of dependent. That was why I didn't bother to send that. I hope they will reason like that.

Through my immigration process ( which took 6 years) they asked me to fill the whole application(s) over and over again and update documents like funds proof and security clearance and so..

I have got a letter today from the buffalo office in which they have asked me only to update the page two of the application form.

Now I feel like i am an immigration pro...lol. I TOLD YOU SO!!! LOL.

Just kidding. i did exactly that. Sent the page two (the one that has photo space), with all the birth cert, passport and fees. Now that you confirmed receiving the letter from Buffalo, I can sleep at night knowing they will not ask me to fill out the whole form.

Can you tell me others things they asked you to do? Can I e-mail you? I used trackit.com and found out we should expect our IA by end of October.
