I am confused about when can i submit my application?
I graduated in april 21,2011. i worked in jun 1, 2011, but i got 3 year work permit in 20, july 2011. I am working in full time, 44hours per week, in calgary. I want to know off-campus can be counted for experience? and i have to work one year or just work for 1950 Hours? or i should submit after july 20,2012?
Thanks for help.

Hi its countable after graduated. using offcampus work permit is just a transition. its good. i did too.
basically, 40h/week for a year right. lets say if you worked 80h/week you can gain 1950 hours in 6month.
so general rule is 40h/w for one year.

Thank you.My boss said in albert over 44 h/w is counted on OT. so i just want to confirm is count on hours or year. In CIC doctument seem to be like should work at least one year. it looks very confused.

Not true!!!! You have to complete 1 year of employment - 1950 hours is a minimum and is posted as a guideline for people who work "part-time" (fewer than 37.5 hours per week). Working more than 37.5 hours per week will not reduce the time you need to work to be eligible...

If you apply after six months, your application WILL be rejected.

It is BOTH hours and one year. You are not confused, you are correct, you must work one year.

Hi sorry guys, i made you confused.
i was going to say, general rule 40h/w for one year.
if you work 80h/w and gain 2000h in 6month, it doesn't work that way.
its pretty much common sense. you have to follow the calendar year.
count 12month first and then does hour next. your overtime doesnt count either.
sorry for the confusion.
