My lawyer is Robert Blansay. My husband visa was refused in March 2011. Then i went to see this lawyer and we won the ADR hearing in Sep 2011. Now my file was sent to Sri Lanka Colombo embassy. But I don't know how long does it take.

Most of the people saying it will take long time than normal sponsor. So i think it will take to give the visa atleast 1 to 2 years.

You know what I didnot see my husband until 3 years. i got married in jan 2009 and stayed there for 14 days because of my exam. But after that i cannot go back and see him because of my dad health condition.

Can you guys understand my feelings

Think you should consider looking at Michael Niren at Visaplace. He's a Toronto Immigration Lawyer His firm is great

you You need to go with your 'gut feeling' go interview a few of them. they will all tell you about their high success rates and gladly take your $$$$$$

The Imm consultant I had, I really didnt like but I knew he knew his stuff. We won the Appeal after waiting 28 months for a hearing date in Toronto. April will be 4 years waiitng for a case that was solid. Compassion ? LOL------went out the window a long long time ago !

Be strong, be focused.....most Appeal cases win !

P.S I dont want to confuse you but you dont need a lawyer or consultant. I know many people who did this Appeal on their own and won !

The Lawyers are charging way too much. I did a lot of research on the internet. Please read Sponsorship Appeals Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. Get as much information then proceed. You know your case better than anyone ok.
