Hello ,


I am going to submit my application for second BOWP as its expiring soon. I would like to know if I can apply a open work permit for my wife too . But she is not living in canada and never been here before .

Can I apply her permit at the same time ?

No, you can't.

She has to apply for her own permit. If she were living here with you, you could submit the applications together. Since she does not live in Canada, she cannot submit it as an in-Canada application, she has to apply to the consulate serving her country...

Get your BOWP first, then she can apply for an SOWP.
