Hi everyone,

I got my NOD with a positive decision. I want to apply for PR. Could anyone please help me answer the following questions:

1. Is there any post on this forum that lists steps and required documents to apply for PR as a convention refugee.

2. I have two children whose passports will expire in a year. The PR normally takes around 2 years. Should I just use their current passport numbers (information) or should get their passports renewed? If I use their current passport numbers, would it make any impact on the application because I will be renewing their passports, hence, changing their passport numbers? Please help.

Thanks.

1. I am not aware of any post, but if you want, you can take help from the nonprofit organizations, who help on the steps,

2. I would apply with all current (passport) information and if any changes come along the way will update IRCC accordingly.

You don't need any forum help to apply for PR its super simple follow the instructions here Applying for Permanent Residence from within Canada: Protected Persons and Convention Refugees [IMM 5205] - Canada.ca

I renwed passports before applying, you can apply but will need to inform IRCC of new passport numbers later

Hi, Thank you for your response. Could you please let me know any nonprofit organizations doing it? I tried searching on the internet but couldn't find it.
Do the community centers help in applying PR?
