Need help and advice for TRV

Hello Everyone,

I have been doing some research recently to apply for Canadian TRV and i came across this amazing website. I got to get some usefull information from other ppl's post. Now i would like to post my scenario here and get some help from peoples experience nd their opinion.

Well i was born and have been living in UAE all my life. i am 23 years old and married to a Canadian Citizen. My wife is pregnant and her due date is in 2 month (23 July). She is currently living in DUbai with me for last 8 Months and holding a valid 3 years residence visa for Dubai valid till 2014. Since Canada's medical treatment is way better than DUbai and almost free tharefore i would like to send her back to her Parents to deliver the baby. Ofcourse being her husband nd our first baby i would like to be present at the most special time of our life. Now i would like to get help from you guys that do you think Canadian Immigration will consider this and grant me a visa?

i will brief you guys lil bit about my background.

i am currently holding a Pakistani Passport and have been working for Emirates Airline for last 3 years and they have renewed my contract for another 3 years. I have a saving of almost USD 10000. My wife's parents are going to send me the invitation letter. They are well settled there and own their house and car etc. My 3 months bank transaction are pretty good of cash flow around 5000 usd every month. I will also include my dad salary certificate who has a income of USD 4000 per month and working as marketing manager in Ajman UAE. He also owns a apartment which he has given me power attorney as well.
One more thing to add i have no intentions of moving to Canada yet as i am very happy in Dubai and my wife havent applied for Spouse residence visa yet.
I have a very strong travel history as well. i have been to over 8 countries since i started working for Emirates for vacation including Europe and USA like 8 years ago with my family and i goto Pakistan like twice every year. the only thing which is against me is that my visitor visa was rejected in 2006 for Canada which i applied from my home country Pakistan. Also i applied for UK which got rejected in 2008. At time i was a student with not much bank statement and single.

Now i would like to get opinions for the experience people here that if there is anything i should add in my application or something. also if i have a very good chance because of my wife being Canadian Citizen and wanting to deliver the baby in Canada not in UAE. i have to apply within a week. your soonest replies will be highly appreciated. thanks everyone

Has your wife confirmed that she will be covered by health care when she returns to Canada? In some provinces you have to re-establish residency after living outside of Canada in order to be covered by health care again. In Ontario (for example), you may no longer be covered by health care if you have been out of the country for more than 212 days in a 12 month period. To restore health care coverage, you must return to Ontario and live there for three months (without free health care) before you have access to health care coverage again.

in 8 months while she has been here she went back to Canada twice for 3 weeks each time. and she went to the doctor there to open the file for her delivery just a month ago. we also have a letter from her doctor stating she is pregnant and willl be delivering in the month of July in the hospotal in Hamilton, Ontario.

you stand a good chance. have all the documents that show your attachment to you current country and get the courage to apply. you are financially sound so you should be ok. dont be scared.

Your past visa rejection from UK and Canada won't affect your visa application today. You are in good situation now. Apply with confident, you will get a visa. Enjoy marriage life. Best of luck 8)

they have calld me for interview on 21st June in person. I never heard of a interview for multiple entry visit visa. any idea what would that be about?

Don't worry, if they call you for interview. They just wanna make sure of few things. Be confident, you will get your visa. 8)

Have you attached your employers letter..? If not, than it's better to get a letter from your employer stating grant of leave and that you will return to your job after visiting your wife in Canada. That will be a huge plus for you.

yes i have attached my letter from work stating how long i have been working, my salary and my leave details and my medical coverage from them.

I m not able to sleep at nights anymore cuz of this interview. heheheh i keep thinking what r they gonna ask me or if they r gonna reject.. this is so scary.

If you applied for multiple entry visa is not a problem. Your wife is pregnant and would like to see her. You have a job back in UAE. And you are going on leave. Do you have any property on your name ? Your legal record is clean? Never been deported from any country? Think, what could be a reason to reject your visa. Good luck 8)
