So how did you come by this job given there are plenty of examples on this forum where people have been promised hotel jobs only to find the hotel does not exist and often for job roles that you have mentioned.

The hotel generally would need to sponsor an LMIA ( 1000 dollars) and advertise the job for 3-4 months very unlikely for such job roles where there would be plenty of residents available . Alternatively you would maybe need to qualify for the IEC program from an eligible country

The job was advertised on the job platform INDEED I made some research on the hotel and it actually exists ,I was interviewed online as well.. I can provide you guys with the JOB IV and CONTRACT for you guys to review as well

I talked to them about the LMIA thats after they sent me a job IV and a contract ,they couldn't provide me with that so that's why am trying the open work permit ...for the IEC I don't think my country is eligible

You cant just get a work permit, you need to have a LMIA or your job has to be exempt somehow which is not possible for hotel work as far as I can tell.

I hope you didn't pay these people anything.

See https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/work-canada/hire-foreign-worker/temporary/temporary-foreign-worker-program.html
No I haven't paid anybody any money they never asked me for a dime and I have been conversing with their HR MANAGER....
And how about the OPEN WORK /TEMPORARY WORK

Name of hotel and website ? If they are providing any one of free accommodation, food or flights then is likely a scam.

Did they offer you free accomodation in one of their rooms?

There is no way you are going to get a LMIA for a housekeeper job lol

Put two and two together. Does it seem plausible, that a hotel in a city like Toronto, that has millions of people would need to bring someone from out of the country to fill a housekeeping position?
Seriously, think about it . I wouldn’t be getting your hopes up

If your country is not on the IEC list, then you don't qualify for an open work permit. This means your employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA so that you can apply for a closed work permit.

Hello @Copingwithlife and @scylia

I see both of you are long time members here,

Please from experience and seeing what methods others have used successfully over time, what routes, methods do foreign workers get jobs offers from employers.

Secondly, how can family/Friends sponsor anyone for caregiver job or home support job under this new program. Are there guidelines and tips you can share...

I see you two are highly versed in these areas...

Thanks waiting for your feedback.

Thank you.
