Need help about WP extension and got PR

Hi team,

I need experts comments on below query

1) I got passport submission request for PR stamping on Oct 10 , same day I send passport for stamping
2) Since my WP was getting expired my company applied for new WP on Oct 17th
3) I am expecting my passport back with PR stamp from CIC end of this week.
4) I am planning to get landing process done quickly this weekend or next weeknd, so I will be PR holder.
5) My WP status will come Nov 25 approx.

Question

1) DO you think CIC will still approve my WP?
2) Incase my WP get rejected since I already have PR, is there any issue can I still work on country?

IS same thing happen with anyone?

1) Quite possible it will be refused. But it doesn't matter.
2) No issues. Once you are a PR you don't need a work permit.
