Need help about work permit

The conditions to apply for the bridging Open work permit would be:
1) Having a current work permit
2) Employment restriction saying " No " in your support letter
3) AOR

if you have all three you can go ahead and apply for bridging, if not just go for the Close work permit.

I am currently waiting for the AOR but they received my papers in 24th of Nov. My status expires first march.

If I didn't receive it the AOR by mid Feb I will go for the Closed work permit.

We both have the same situation. Mine is a pnp in a province with a close work permit. I was given 90 days to find an employer but unfortunately I couldn't find one as it's a slow season. Immigration Officer told me If I couldn't get a new employer to sponsor me they will revoke my application from cic and nomination as well. I was thinking of applying for anything extension as I am just waiting for PPR almost done of my PR app. Hope you guys could give me a helpful advise. Thanks so much!

After I have the offer letter, PNP nomination certificate, and support letter from PNP, I will need to
1. Answer this quiz (although I am not sure yet how to answer): http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/account.asp
2. at the end of the quiz, I will get a code to use in MY CIC to apply for the work permit extension
4. I am not sure about this point onwards. In my CIC, I then upload the offer letter, PNP nomination certificate, support letter from PNP, and LMIA work permit application form in which I need the offer of employment number, ( which my employer will get once he pays here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/employer-portal.asp)

Please let me know if I understand this correctly. I really appreciate your help!

and in the case that you ask how to upload all the documents:

If you apply for your work permit online, upload the above document(s) in the Letter of Explanation slot
in the document checklist.

Note: for all suporting documents it is the easiest way
to create a doc-document put allsuporting documents in it and export it as a PDF-document

Hi, would you be able to help me to make me understand about quiz? Because never heard of it.
so, if i open up the link you have posted for quiz, it leads me to gc key webpage not any quiz. however, i am thinking is this quiz required for closed work permit? if yes, quiz has to be done by applicant(GC key's) or employer (GC key's)?
See if you can shed some light on this for me.

pay the employer compliance fee of $230; and
submit an offer of employment form through the Employer Portal.
Note: If you are hiring a temporary worker who has an open work permit, you do not need to submit an offer of employment form or pay the employer compliance fee. An open work permit allows the permit holder to work for any Canadian employer.

my question is In the note it is saying my employer does not need to submit an offer of employment & also no need to pay compliance fee either if applicant holding open work permit. Then what need to be done from my employer side?

Can you please tell that after getting the screen of document submission, the employer compliance fee document is showing as an optional document so still do we need to get that compliance fee??
I am on pgwp and working with the company from one year and i have employee restricted nomination and i will apply for close work permit but confused about that optional document of employer compliance fee...do i still need to get that even if its optional?

In a similar boat, and of course neither the BC PNP or IRCC have been much help, so if anyone here could, it'd be much appreciated.
My PGWP expires in a week. I submitted by EE profile, but don't have enough CRS points to receive ITA, so registered for a PNP, which should get an ITA at the next draw, which I expect to be this week. Since I can't apply for BOWP without nomination, or at least AOR for the nomination, I'm trying to determine if I can apply for a new temporary work permit (I assume closed); I've been with the same organization for 3 years, PT, but am the second in charge. We're an arts organization, very specialized and under the 5 employee minimum for LMIA as require by the FSW program's policies. I figured since I'm applying under the International Graduate stream, that there are clauses (I seem to have found a few, but again, no one will verify any of this for me), and I'd like to apply for a new work permit BEFORE having to apply for visitor status first , so I can maintain my status while seeking my PNP. Am I totally wrong that this should be a good and workable option? My employer will vouch and give me a work offer, and will stress the urgency and that trying to replace me, especially under such quick turnaround, would be detrimental to the organization.
