Need help about further sponsoring

Hi Folks

I just wanna ask u some question.
I am in Canada now and just wanna make sure,if u are temporary unemployed and u r recieving some financial help from the government,,will it have a negative impact on ur further sponsoring ur parents or siblings,,I mean after it when u get employed and start to work full time can u sponsor???Or u can't because of recieving social assistance in past?( I am not recieving any financial help,just asking to make sure).

You can sponsor your parents once you have worked in Canada for three years straight in a job that meets the low income cut off for your family, plus the number of people you are sponsoring.

You most likely can't sponsor your siblings unless they are under 19.

You would have to sponsor your parents and include your brother as a dependent. This is the only way you can sponsor your brother. Yes - you will have to wait until you are working in Canada and have made enough income for three years in a row to meet the low income cut off.
