I need your Urgent Response. My application status changed to "your processed application has been despatched from CIC Kenya on 06/01/2015." Does this mean my Visa application has been approved?

There's no way of knowing if the TRV has been approved or not until you get the passport back.

Hope for the best :)

Its me again. when they say processing time is 10 days or 13 or 18 - does it mean from 20th to 31 Dec 10 days or just working days. I saw an Algerian uploaded 21 dec and 31st he got reply. processing time on web for algeria is 10 days.

Upto now for me, it was showing processing time 13 days, no reply - i uploaded 22 dec 2015.

Second question - I am just wondering - when I apply online does this go to CIC Canada or does this go to VAC in South Africa or Kenya or Tanzania which is the VAC where I can apply for visa in this region?

Regards,

@Aheri

It means the average processing time is XX days from the date a complete application is received to the time a decision is made + add passport transmission time. This is the average processing time for 80% of the applications. So 20% of the applications can be processed faster/slower than the timelines cited on the CIC website.

For paper applications, one submits documents to a CVAC (Canada Visa Application Centre)..... typically, VFS.

VFS acts as the service provider for CIC.... the VAC does NOT make any decision for TRVs. They will forward your documents to the visa office for processing. The visa office will return the passport to VFS/CVAC after a decision is made.

Zambia applications are processed by the Tanzania VO (Dar es Salaam)

Thank you. So when I submit online then it still processed and transferred to Tanzania office?

You mentioned that I try to make a case enquiry.

Please help with email address that I can send to to enquire about the application.

thanks

Hi,

I had posted the CSE link + email address for the Dar es Salaam visa office in the other thread:

Hope it works

Thanks. Got the thread

I will send a case enquiry today just to see if i can get some feedback. 22 Dec 2015 to 9th Jan 2016 should be 18 days. I am hoping that i can make for training on 20th Jan even if i miss conference. I wonder if anything can be done within 10 days if i submit the passport in person at VAC in Dar.

Being weekend, I wonder if i should expect anything or I just wait till Monday afternoon.

Will reschedule ticket - a tentative reschedule to 17th Jan 2015.

I hope for best

Hi,

I don't want to get your hopes down.... replies from a visa office to CSEs can be within hours/a day or even up to 30 days. The earliest you can expect a reply is Monday.

You'll probably have to submit your passport in person at the Dar es Salaam VAC once you get the passport request.... as that would be faster for TRV stamping than sending the passport there from Zambia

Hope everything works out well :)

Thanks you Bryanna. I am hoping for best. If i get positive feedback before 17hrs then i can fly to Dar at Midnight monday and submit Tuesday. But in meantime, maybe I can send a case enquirey....since its past 18 days. What do you think. Or I wait for Monday? Would case enquiry delay further matters?

Hi,

Don't wait for Easter LOL. Send the Case Specific Enquiry asap. It will not delay your TRV processing.

Your application has crossed the processing time stated for the Dar es Salaam visa office. You still have some chance of getting your stamped passport back in time for the training (if you are approved)

Cheers
