Hi, I have got an ITA from SINP, but for POF I have a joint account with father of national saving certificates.. me being the primary joint holder. And the required funds are being maintained in the account for last 3 years without any withdrawal. I have read in forums that a certificate from financial institution, a bank statement and an affidavit from parent that the funds belong to me *the applicant* and are for the sole purpose of settlement in Canada can work? Kindly advise. I do have salary accounts and other current accounts but they make up less than 50% of funds required.
Kindly guide since I don't have any other option available at this point of time.

I think an affidavit from parent that the funds belong to me *the applicant* and are for the sole purpose of settlement in Canada can work. Also you dont have any other option, so go with this one. But best would be to check with state directly or their checklist of documents.
