I recently graduated and was in the process of applying for my Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) when I realized that my study permit has expired, and it is now past the 90-day restoration period. I did not notice this earlier because I assumed it would be valid until my graduation. My Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), which I applied for at the same time, is still valid.
Given this situation, I understand that I need to apply for a Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) alongside a work permit. Is it feasible to handle this process on my own, or would you advise seeking the assistance of an immigration lawyer to navigate this complexity?
