Need fingerprint cards

All the area police and jails that do fingerprinting require I bring my own cards. I read where printing them off does not work.....any ideas where to request cards. Thanks aLL

I too have this problem, I live in Mexico and need to do full sets, they only do 1 finger and immigration needs full sets, so next option is to get cards and do it with police as witnesses, Will this work?

I got mine done (Wisconsin) at the Sheriff Office. I could have at the police station, but the day I went they had a bunch of kids coming thru and I didn't want to chase my kids around them.

The police should be able to tell you where you can get the cards. It took me a couple trips to find the cards, but I got them at my local prison intake facility in South Carolina (but their fingerprint machine was down) so I took the cards to another local police office.

Get them from L-1 (these are State cards but pretty much identical to the FBI cards)

(You would provide your individual mailing address)

By mail, the request should be sent to:

You can also contact the DCJS Record Review Unit at 1-800-262-3257 (DCJS Customer Contact Center) to request either packet.

They WILL accept downloaded cards from their website. I print them on standard card stock (110 lb paper), after deleting the disclaimer at the bottom of the first page. Works just fine.
