Hi,

My PNP file is in progress and at federal level since Aug 2016. I have done upfront medical in July 2016 which is showing passed on CIC account. My crs is 431 and hoping to receive ITA today or tomorrow and thinking of applying through express entry in parallel. Here are my questions:

1) my upfront medical expiring in July 2017- Can I use same medical? I have read somewhere medical must be less than 6 months old prior to applying but in my case its showing already passed in pnp application.

2) Police clearance: My police clearances are from last JULY, Can i use same certificates for express entry? MY GCMS NOTES indicate i passed criminality as well. I'm an inland applicant.

Appreciate your help.

first, congratulations, I'm sure you will receive ITA today since CRS score was 431.

Secondly, these are two different streams and are processed differently.
Your medicals has to be valid for 6 or more months for express entry. As for your PCC, it must be valid as at the time you are submitting your PR application after obtaining ITA (all of your documents except medicals will be locked in when you get e-APR)

If you receive an invitation from the federal government, why do you need a PNP? PNP will take longer due to processing and additional fees too.
