HI Everyone-I was wondering if someone could answer this question for me-I am sponsoring my wife and her daughter from out of country. Will I have to prove financial(Canada Income Tax Return Printouts)in order to successfully sponsor them.My problem is that I have been living with them for 18 months in her country so I dont have tax returns with any monies earned from Canada but I do have a money in a savings account in Canada that is more than enough to establish ourselves back in Canada.I have been living out of Canada by way of 6 month visas and maintain an address in Canada so I am classed as a tourist and not a permanant resident of my wifes country.I am a born citizen of Canada.I read places that say it is not nessesary to prove finances for a spouse and her daughter or is it just spouse and I will have to prove finaces for her dependant daughter. Thanks for your answers.
