Please help me with the email id that's used to reach cic. I'd like to check with them about my application's status.

Please can u clarify ur request appropriately. Do u mean that u do not have email address or u do not know how to open one or what?

Hi,

I was asking for the email id that is used to enquire with the cic on the current status of the application. I do have an email id with them for my application, I want to write to them and ask them to give me an update since its been more than 3 weeks that my application is pending with them.

Okay. I do not know but it has been mentioned somewhere in the forum if u know how to search forum for cic enquiry mail or u modify ur topic to 'Need Cic enquiry mail'. Ths will give u quick response.

Ola,

Yes I was. But they have not replied. I guess they don't. Today marks 18th working day since I applied. Is there anything else that can be done to intimate them of this delay?

Can't you trace your application status with your tracking id?!
 
Its pending. Been so for so long. The next best thing I could do was send them an email, which I did..

Don't you have any tracking id to track your application?!
 
I do ,ramya. And per that its been pending.

Il explain my situation - I applied for my visa on 10th July via Canam Consultants. On 11th The medical exam stood cleared. On 17th, they asked for my educational documents to be uploaded again. My consultants say that this happens because there is a server over load during evening times, which was when my document was uploaded on the 10th; this overload apparently sometimes causes a doc to be not loaded fully. After the 17th since when the file was resubmitted, there has been no change in the status of my application. It says "pending for final decision".

Since the 3 week wait period is done with, my consultants and I decided to drop an email to the embassy. My question therefore is, what next if they do not reply or the status does not change before the scheduled time frame?
 
How long does it take to process visa for ur region? If the period of process is still within they may not attend to ur mail. The day they requested for additional document marked another start date for ur application. That ur 18th day may be their own a week.
 
My application has gone to CHC-Delhi i presume. The application there takes 3 weeks. For that matter application anywhere in India takes 3 weeks.

Are u certain that the modified date over rides the initial application date?
