Hey Guys,

Need your opinion on my situation.
I'm currently working on PGWP which expires in summer 2017.
I have completed a Bachelor and three years Canadian diploma, and will have my two years of working experience in June.

My current EE score is 439. I have applied under OINP few weeks ago.
My IELTS results are 7.5 Reading. 7.5 Listening 7.5 Writing 6.5 Speaking

What are my chances of getting an ITA and what would you suggest to improve the score? I see people retake IELTS, does this help at all?

Thanks a lot!

Three biggest factors (600pts) in CRS are Job Offer, Provincial Nomination and LMIA ..if you have any one of them you don't need to worry about anything :-) PNP nomination - you already applied; once approved it will give you 600 points ....

But if you really want to increase the score without these 3 factors then only option you have is to improve your IELTS score ...that will give you some points. Or you can attempt for French (if you wanna learn basic and give it a try)

others may also want to suggest something ....

Thanks a lot
!

Yeah I'm coming to the same conclusion, slowly - If I want to speed things up IELTS is the only way while playing this adventurous game :)

Actually, Does two year work experience mark gives you additional points?

You do qualify under Ontario PNP because you have 400+ points, an undergraduate degree and one year skilled work. If you havent received an invitation from ontario and it has been a month then you can withdraw your profile and resubmit.

Thanks!
I have already sent application to OINP though... Now wondering if the processing time is actually 90 days, or it is longer. I've sent it end if January.

Just checked.. It will be 53 points instead of 40. I believe the score might jump to 450 ish then

Thanks for the reply!

Good luck ....

Hit +1 if you liked my suggestion ...

well some people have their application processed in less than 90 days and other takes more than 90 days, depends on the processing officer. Other people said after a week call your bank to see if your bank draft was cashed . just keep the positive attitude and fingers crossed.
