I need some information please
did you have some information regarding people who hide their travel history and caught on their PR application at background check stage.
for a example one of my friend came to Canada without telling him previous visits and he got new passport.

after that he study and apply for post graduate work permits too. those go through.

his now trying to make his PR application and worried about background check. is this background check deferent from when he came to Canada.

any experience or information about this much appreciate .

If CIC find out something different from what you voluntarily declare on your application (including education, work ex, language test, past history, criminal record etc), that is called Misrepresentation. And that can be the end of your PR dreams for at least 3 years if not longer than that.

Especially personal history because CIC insists that you list down everything from the time you turned 18 and produce PCC(s) from all countries where you have lived more than 6 months.
