I recently met up with a batch mate of mine who had the following plan advised to her by a consultant and her boyfriend.
1. Take up a one year course in management or any other field of interest on a paid basis at a good University at Canada
2. Go to Canada by a student visa for one year.
3. She was told by a consultant that a one year student visa would entitle her to a one year work permit
4. The consultant also told her that a 2 year stay at Canada makes one eligible to apply and receive a PR in a very short period of time
Settle down there
The consultant quoted around INR 3000.00 has his charges to help select a course, courier papers etc and advised that the total cost of the one year course there(Canada) including the cost of living for one year would approximately come to 9 lac INR.
Out of this, around 4.5 lacs would be the course fee and the rest, all other expenses
Can the forum please let me know if this is a sensible and viable option?
Thank you very much for your support.
