Hi guys, I have submitted my application for Express Entry and I'm a candidate being eligible for Canadian Experience Class accumulating overall CRS points of 418.

When I calculate my score manually, I should have 445 points.

I think the discrepancy is occurring as I do have a job offer but it isn't supported by Labour Market assessment. I am extremely frustrated by this. I don't know if I would be exempt from receiving LMIA as I have a open post graduate work permit.

For some reason, they aren't accounting my Canadian education in my assessment. I should have additional 30 points from getting my undergrad in Canada for subtotal core/human capital section.

I am thinking of applying for Provincial nomination, however I haven't been invited to apply. Do I need to be invited?

What should I do to improve my score? My IELTS score is 7 band, I have more than a year of work experience in Canada at a Financial Institution, as I mentioned, I have my Canadian undergrad.

Your help you would be appreciated. Please advise how I can improve my score to be invited? My work permit is expiring this year. Thanks!

Please try to improve the IELTS score. Language tests hold a lot of weight towards getting an ITA. There are thousands of people with scores of more than 445.

Your current job won't count for a job offer unless you get an LMIA for it, I believe (I could be wrong)

OP has a PGWP which I am guessing should be an Open WP without any employer name. Which means OP cannot get an LMIA right now.

If you are on a PGWP, this doesn't count as a job offer. Your employer needs to get an approved LMIA in order for you to qualify for the 50 job offer points.

My ielts score: Reading 6.5, Writing 7, Speaking 9, Listening 8.5.
Just check with one point added on your reading how much it could be bumped. Use the calculator and see. Hope that helps.

I currently work at a Bank, and i'm not sure if they can give me LMIA.

Yes, I have an open Work permit. What else can I do to improve my score? retaking IELTS won't improve my score much.

My question is that I have a degree from a university, how come it's not being accounted for in additional factors.
