I applied for Permanent Residency under Protected persons Class on April 2012. My application was received on April 2012.
On November 2012 I received an email to fill an applicant declaration which I filled and returned.
My E-cas only shows: My application was received on April 2011 and nothing else.
No medical examination has been requested from which I expected but instead I received letter from Vegreville saying that:
"This letter refers to your application for permanent residence under the Protected Person in Canada Class.
This is to advise you that your application has been transferred to the Canadian Immigration Centre in Etobicoke for further assessment. The Canada Immigration Centre may contact you for an interview or to seek additional information or clarification. Once processing is complete, that office will notify you by mail of their decision.
Passports for yourself and your family members must be valid for the duration of your stay in Canada."
is there anybody who has gone through this. What does this mean since I dont see anywhere they have indicated that decision has been made on my file or approved.
Why was it transfered before doing medical and what are the waiting times at Etobicoke
Where I am headed,I am confused.
