need advice on inland application for my son

Hi,

I did my landing in Dec 2013 and after two weeks , I went back to UK. My son was born in Mar 2014 and he is British citizen. I came to Canada recently with my family and I want to apply PR for my younger son , who was born in UK. He is on visitor (ETA ) until July 2017. I would highly appreciate if somebody can explain me the process of applying PR for dependant children (Inland).

What are the exact dates that you left and returned to Canada?

If you don't meet the Residency Obligation, you can't sponsor your child.

Hi,

I am with in the residency requirement as I did my landing in28 Dec 2013 and stayed for 10 days , I also visited Canada after my landing for 42 days.

I came to Canada on 26 January 2017 so I believe that I am within the residency requirement.

There is no inland option to sponsor your child.
