Hell All,

I'm in the process of starting the PR process and still going through initial apprehensions.
I work as a PMO in Accenture and doing ok for myself.

I have always wanted to move to Canada for better life and better prospects. If everything works out I will be moving with my wife and daughter.

Please help me understand what are the chances of getting a job once the get the VISA and before landing in
Canada. If not , is it a good idea to go there and look for a job?

I'm just nervous about leaving a mid level management job and going there without a job.

Please share your experiences or if you have heard similar things from friends/family in similar situations.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Darshan

Moving to a new country means starting life all over. The express entry is designed in a way to enable people who are more likely to succeed to get there faster. Having experience abroad will help you get a job in Canada but not necessarily at the same level. You can either take any survival job until you get what you are looking for or come with lots of money to cover you and your family until you find exactly what you are looking for.

Wanting a better life and better prospects won't happen on day 1 unless you have a good support system in Canada as you have to think about childcare too. Moving is a big decision and you should be willing to take a risk.

I have read success stories and the opposite too. You can only hope for the best but also prepare for the worst.
