Need Advice for PGWP Application

Hi guys! My study permit will expire at the end of the month (July 31), but I'm still waiting for both the letter of completion and official transcript from my university. After searching online, here are the three methods I came up with, which one should I go with?

1. Apply for PGWP with unofficial transcript and write a letter of explanation saying that I will submit the letter of completion and official transcript using IRCC Webform once I receive them. (best solution?)
2. Wait until I get both documents and leave Canada to apply for PGWP. (illegal stay)
3. Wait until I get both documents and pay an extra $350 to restore my status, then apply for PGWP. (tedious and $$$)

Also, I had to leave Canada due to a health issue in one of the winter terms. I left during the winter break so I did not have a chance to get a letter of authorized leave from the school. I did take two online courses and notarized the medical records. I have sent an email to the school but haven't heard back yet (no one answers the phone either). What's the chance of getting PGWP with explanation plus the notarized medical records?

Thanks for any input!

Option 4. Apply for a visitor record to change your status to visitor before your study permit expires, and apply for a PGWP from within Canada after your documents arrive. You don't get implied status as a worker but it allows you to avoid leaving Canada without being in the country illegally or paying to restore your status.

Keep in mind you also only have 180 days to apply from the date of your study permit expiry if it occurs before you receive proof of program completion.

Your main problem is likely your part-time semester without a letter of authorized leave from the school. I think you probably need one.

Thank you for your advice! What if I cannot get the visitor visa within the 180 days?

I believe they did say that your application will not be rejected if school documents are missing due to covid so option 1 MIGHT work.
Also you can apply for a study permit extension, say you want a 3 months bridging extension so that you can apply for PGWP. The only issue is if you apply with implied status you cant start work immediately.

You're on implied status as a visitor and can apply as soon as your documents are in order.
That makes sense. I think it should be my best bet right now unless I can get all documents in time, which is very unlikely at this point tbh. Thank you so much for your advice again!

I did find the document you mentioned, but not sure if that's 'safe' enough. Thank you for your input as well!
