Need a PRTD - Traveled in emergency on expired PR.

I am a Permanent Resident in Canada and have been living since 6 six years. Recently I have applied for the citizenship.
My PR Card is expired and have to travel Pakistan due to emergency in family. My question is
How long it takes to get the PRTD?
once someone get; How long it is valid for? I mean number of days / months.

If some one has come through from this situation or having any related information, please share.

Pre-covid, it took four months or more.

Thanks for reply - Once gets the PRTD. Once some one get the PRTD; How much is the validity? I mean the duration of the validity of PRTD in which have to travel back e.g. days/months.

It depends whether you get a single or multiple entries PRTD. Multiple entries have a longer validity (1 to 5 years), while single have about 6 months.
